Lhe weather will be calm on Friday September 15 during the day, becoming stormy in the evening in the West and especially the South-East, according to Météo-France forecasts. In the morning, from Normandy to the North-East, the sky will often be heavy with mists in places. Clearings will prevail in the afternoon. Elsewhere, the sky will be generally clear from the start of the day, except for a few patches of gray locally in the South-East, notably Roussillon and the Alpine valleys.
Over the Pyrenees, a veil of high clouds will rise towards the north. The clouds will thicken in the afternoon and a few showers will occur over the range but also the Aquitaine coast. These small showers will reach the entire Atlantic coast in the evening.
In the South-East, a marked stormy deterioration is expected. The easterly wind will strengthen around the Gulf of Lion, up to 80 km/h in gusts. It will be accompanied in the evening by temporarily sustained stormy rain over Roussillon, Languedoc and the west of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur during the night. Corsica will stay away.
